assume i have already get the $cwb and $layout, is there any way to load SVRF from command line?
which type of job will the SVRF file be used for?
the scenario is,
the user load a gds file into the CalibreDrv, and the user has a lvs.technology.rules file or drc.technology.rules which defined the layers and lvs/drc rules, and this file can be loaded thru the menu, Layers -> Load Input SVRF Layer Names...., since this is routinely done everytime, i am trying to compile a script to this job automatically, loading the gds, other config stuffs, and loading the drc/lvs.technology.rules thru Load Input SVRF Layers Names.
i was using Calibre 2010.3, and i searched thru the documents, and trying to play with the $cwb, $layout, $layoutView objects, but simply can't find a API to do this job, i also tried to save the transcipt so that i could find the internal commands which does the job, but that didnt work out either, loading SVRF operation does not leave any traces in the transcript
any inputs, Chris?
thanks in advance
Try this :
# find workbench window
set wb [find objects -class cwbWorkBench]
$wb loadLayerNamesFromSvrf calibre_rule_file
many thanks for the input, Jean, this works
