You set your trace routing direction for a layer as horizontal or vertical; adjacent layers should not have the same setting. Are you looking for something more than that? Or are you trying to restrict the parallelism on two non-adjacent layers (say 3 and 5) that are both set to horizontal?
Thank you very much for your reply. But i am forced to route in the same direction in adjacent layers as the Pins are nearby. Is there any setting that router can offset the routing from the previous layer.?
So it sounds like you need a 3D rule, like 'clearance from Net A to Net B is xxx mm from layer n to layer n+1'. I don't know that PADS can do that, but I'm not an expert in the rules. Maybe others in the community can comment on this.
