Since I posted the last question, I discovered that the Name Text dialogue had somehow remembered a minimised view and when I expanded it all the fields became visible!
There are still a couple of simple bugs in VeSys:
1) When you print for the first time (we like to print in colour) although the Black/White Only box is unchecked that state isn't picked up. The box needs to be checked and unchecked to get a colour print. It then remembers this for succeeding prints. Given that we're dealing with drawings, in Printer Setup it would be better if the default was for landscape rather than portrait.
2) When you Print To File (Format: PDF) and press Configure...
.. to get a colour pdf you have click on the Color down-arrow and select Color. You have to do this for every succeeding pdf because VeSys does not remember this setting.
Maybe its worth making a suggestion that all of the print settings are remembered from the previous plot, that would help out in both the coloring and the landscape/portrait issue you are referring to. This is how the plotting in VeSys Classic/AutoCAD works that you have the option to remember everything even if it was a zoomed in window of an area of a drawing.
How do you do that in VeSys 2.0?
I am not sure how you log an enhancement/suggestion, I believe there is an ideas forum or somthing.
You can access the ideas forum to post enhancement suggestions from within the VeSys tool. On the menu bar > Help > IESD Academy > Submit an Idea
I have used Joel's link to submit this idea/bugfix.
I have also posted an idea for supporting hierarchical design.
