Are you asking which parts use that decal? I know that PADS just added that for footprints (decals) in Layout to check, but I haven’t seen that feature for CAE decals.
I suggest that you export the text library and then do an ASCII search. You’ll have to do that for all the libraries that might use the part.
Yep. I was hoping the same feature was available for CAE decals. Thanks. I'll probably
bite the bullet and do tha manual seaches using text files.
There's another way.
1) Enter the Library Manager.
2) Select Parts
3) Click "List to File" button
4) Make sure at least "Part Name" and "Logic Decal" are in the selected attributes list
5) Click "Run"
6) Save it as either a .lst or a .csv file
7) In the file you can sarch for parttypes using a specific Logic Decal

What method can use scripting to get the .lst file?
Sorry - I don't know.
I'm not a scripting guru.
But you can record it as a macro.
I have done that.
It doesn't matter, but thank you all the same
Thank you very much for your reply，but I don't need to so complex thing, I want to know the fuction about the component's CAE Decals.
for example, the component's PCB Decal can get like that :
set comp= activedocument.components
But I write "comp(1).caedecal" is wrong ,please can you know the reason, and how I can do?
The line is something like msgbox comp(1).Gates.component but I'm not sure of the exact text.
In Logic, select <Tools><Basic scripts><Basic Scripts Editor>
Select the 'Browse Object' button (box with circles above it). This brings up the help file about all the ActiveX parts. Somewhere in there you may find out how to access the information you seek. I'm not very strong on ActiveX so that is as much as I can offer.
