My compnay uses DxDesigner as our schematic capture tool, and DxDatabook as our component database. We currently do not use Vesys at all. If I were to draw simple harnesses in DxDesigner (the advantage of that is the DxDatabook database already has all of our connector, wire and pin symbols in it) could I export them in a format that is compatible with Vesys? From there I could export from Vesys in an .xml format, which is the preferred file format of our mechanical modeling software. So the only real question is the DxDesigner to Vesys connection.
Any help is appreciated.
Currently, there isn't a direct link between DxDesigner and VeSys 2.0 Harness however if you can export the connectivity you could use the document in the link below to convert this for use in VeSys 2.0 Harness (or Capital HarnessXC)...
Please let me know how you get on,
