I would like to import a picture (*.bmp) to use in my silkscreen only, could somebody please explain how i do that?

You need the bmp2asc tool. Get it here:
This tool works best with high constrast images.
The result when trying to import this picture:
If you cant se the image it is just a mess of white lines.
You have to play with the argumants in the command line to get a good picture. The Line Width is particularly finicky. I think I used a Line Width of 1 for the attached bmp.
bmp2asc is a nice litle tool once you figure it out. If you don't want to bother you can try this file. Import it into your library and you'll have a line-type item called 'zap_logo'.
If you don't like command line with BMP2ASC try Image in Design.
You Have to conver that JPEG image in to a DXF format, (Plenty of softwares available for conversion).
Then you can scale the DXF to the required size and can bring in to the board's silkscreen layer by import DXF option.
