Open the library from PADS Logic and delete the decal from the part.
Thanks for the suggestion but it crashed PADS Logic as well
I noticed though that when you select two components including the corrupt component it didn't crash
So I just deleted both components and re-made the good component!
In PADS Layout select File - Library. Locate the Library name with offending part, select Decal icon, find decal with a problem and select Delete button.
Recreate Decal and called it the same name as before.
If you have repeat the same steps and delete Part Type and recreated.
Open design and go to ECO and replace Part Type with new one that contain rebuild decal.
Hi. I used to have the same problem.
To solve my problem, I exported the decal in ASCII then re-imported them into a tmp library.
Any decal with an issue will not import (you will get an error message).
This is how I found which decal was causing the whole issue.
Hope it helps.
