Is there any method to check a fixed spacing for two layers using DRC command?
INTERNAL is an easy way to check for spacing that is too close, so I wonder if the challenge is to then find an easy way to check for spacings that are too large. INTERNAL accepts a range but that isn't always good because large constraints aren't a very efficient way to check for spacing with the INTERNAL operation.
Do you think there is merit in the idea of sizing the layer by half the desired spacing distance, then subtracting the result from the database extent so that anything remaining might be a spacing that was too large? (in addition to using INTERNAL to check for spacings that are too close)
