Perform database comparison (XOR) by Calibre command line invocation

Video created by swilliam on Oct 6, 2014

Database compare is used frequently to make sure desired edits (and only desired edits) have been made to a layout database. It's also used to

make sure two layout files are identical (or not). As designs have increased in complexity over the years so have the available options for

database comparison. Sometimes it's unclear which tool to use for this frequently needed task. For those times where a simple, basic polygon

comparison between two layout files is all you want and you'd like to quickly submit it from a command line, this video shows how to setup and

use a simple script to run a Calibre DRC job to do that.
