GenCad output from EE2007.5 contains data not available in the previous release. It may not be condusive to currently developed processes to account for the new data. A .vbs script may be used to remove unwanted data from the GenCad file.
Two example scripts are attached.
1) RmvGenCADAttrs.vbs - this will remove ATTRIBUTE and HEIGHT statements from the GENCAD file.
2) RetGenCADto20053.vbs - this will remove ATTRIBUTE and HEIGHT statements, and the CUTOUT and MASK Statements appearing in the ARTWORK Section of the $BOARD Section as well as the ARTWORK statement itself.
