    Import/Export of Pin Function Names

In VeSys Design it would be very useful to be able to import the Pin Function names as well as import them.  Often the Function of a pin isn't determined by the Wire Harness Designer it is given to them by owners of the component and so an import would be very useful.

It would be good update the pin functions from the "Import Wire Properties" dialog.

          Thanks,

Good idea, we would however need to be able to select the Connectors that we need to import the Pin Function Names against.  The feature should ideally be able to update either the Pin Function name or even have the ability to update the Connector/Pin ID's to match the function names.

We get a list of Pin Function names from the Electronic Control Unit component owner, in early development the Pin arrangements frequently change and the problems we have is that every time the Pin vs Connector ID/Pin ID is updated we have to go through the drawing manually performing all of the updates.  Also when placing a new Electronic Control Unit it takes a lot of time to type in all of the Function names (especially when the component has 180 pins), the component owner already has this information and so it would be much easier to import this data - and we do have some customers who require that every pin function is labelled on every component.
