Hi, are you drawing the harness in Vesys harness or in Capital HarnessXC?
I am using Vesys.
Hi, thanks. I will share this item with a couple of our team but I will also move this post to the VeSys community to see if there are people in there that can help as well.
The master for wiring connectivity comes from the schematic, there is no way "sync" will keep objects in the harness that aren't also in the wiring schematic. Can I ask why your wiring schematic doesn't have all the needed connectivity?
So we have a harness that has has all our big cables runs on it like 1/0 to 4/0 ones. We did not want to create a harness for each individual cable so we put them all in one drawing and then assign dash numbers to each one. That way we only have to look at one drawing to find all our big cables. The issue is if we stop using a certain cable and it is taken out of the schematic it will disappear from the harness.
We dont want to roll all our engineering and sub assemblies to new numbers because one of forty cables stops being used.
The backup solution I had in mind is just to take the old cable and have it outside the print zone so vesys still will see it and sync it in from this shadow.
