Noob question: How to reposition symbol properties?

    mwoi

      Hi all,

I'm stumbling through the PADS Designer tutorial/training and I've learned how to add properties (values, tolerance, etc.) to my schematic symbols, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to move those properties so that they don't overlap wires, symbols, etc.

How do I do this? Or can I?

Thanks in advance... I'm sure I'll have more noob questions in the near future.

In the schematic just pick them up and move them (select with the mouse), you may need to toggle the visibility of the property in the Properties pane before it allows you to select them depending on the property and/or version of PADS. If you need to permanently set the positions then edit them in the symbol editor (see the secton in the evaluation guide - Lesson 3 page 37)
