is this only a visual defect or is going to alter the results? (see the picture)
It should be 34.48ps and 29 Gbps and can't change it.
HY VX2.3 Update2.
This is pretty strange behavior. I wonder if it is an effect of your LOCALE setting. Do you maybe have the numbers set to use a comma ( , ) as the number radix (instead of a period ( . ))?
It's clear that the numbers should be as you specified. When I select the CEI-56G-LR-PAM4 protocol, I get the numbers you specified as the defaults.
The bit interval and bit rate are editable in my case. In fact, if I try to edit the bit interval to a number less than 34.48 then I get an error. What is the observed behavior when you try to edit the numbers?
Can you confirm that the version of HyperLynx that you are running is VX.2.3 update 2?
thanks for your prompt replay.
Please see the picture. Shows you the error that I've got.
I confirm the HY version. I am using LineSim. Didn't try yet with Boardsim.
sorry for the the delay in my reply.
Yes, that's was the problem: changing windows configuration (win7) for the decimal point from (,) to (.), it fixed the issue.
