You can use a Basic-Script called "XY Positions.bas" or
try your luck with the CAM-Plus Output.
In CAM Plus, how do you manully prepare a part.def file?
normally you choose the side of the board and what kind of parts (mostly SMT) and the output format.
If you click "run" it will create the report in your working directory.
But I don´t use CAM-Plus because of following reasons:
- if you have a part with angle differing from 0, 90, 180... CAM-Plus will ignore the part
- if you have SMT-parts with ndk-holes (e.g. connector with position catching) - CAM-Plus classifiys it as non-SMT and will
Thanks for sharing your experience.
Have you posted these fixes for CAM-plus in Bright Ideas? I'll vote for them.
In PADS 9.# the "XY Positions.bas" script has been replaced by "17 - Excel Part List Report.BAS". It apears the The old version is still available as "old_X & Y Part Location Report.bas".
I found time to post the idea - called "Cam Plus Output".
