Are there any plans to port HyperLynx to Linux? SupportNet has an old technote stating that HL is not available for Linux but maybe something has changed since then.
Hyperlynx 8.1 which is scheduled to release in the month end have a linux version and the beta version is available to user months ago.
Artsiom, Can you tell me which technote you found that says HyperLynx is not available on Linux? I can update that note for the 8.1 release.
Yes, you are right, it is MG26284.
That technote is updated to state that HyperLynx 8.1 will be available on Linux. You should know that Quality Assurance tests on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Whether or not it works on other versions is unknown.
Thanks for the update!
I'm thinking about gradual switching from WinXP/7 to Ubuntu as a design environment. I have plenty of time to investigate if all required CADs would work in it.
Though not being an advanced Linux user (yet ) I think it should be possible to make a Red Hat tested distribution of HL to run under Ubuntu.
I am a FAE for Mentor.
Could tell me how to download the HyperLynx for Redhat Linux.
Anyway, I am familiar with Redhat Linux. If possible, please give me the beta version and I will help to test.
