I'm having the same problem - did you ever get this resolved?
This version not supporting Win7. Win7 has diffrent path for start menu.
I know this is an older thread but I thought I would add my two cents in case anybody else ran across this problem and ran across this thread like I did. You simply right click on the setup file (or autorun in my case) and select properties, from their you should see a compatibility tab, click on it and then check the box under "compatability mode". This should run the install like it would run under XP.
do the followings if you are using win 7 (you may try it w/ other versions if see the same problem, see saxtmich's reply)
 right click on the setup
 select properties
 go to compatibility tab
 under "compatibility mode"
(a) select the check box "run this program in compatibility mode for" and select Windows XP
(b) If you can not edit the box, go below and click on "change settings for all users" and select as (a)
 save you settings
now you should be able to run the installation w/o seeing any error messages.
