hi, I'm so sorry to give you trouble again ! Because I need to your help about CAE Decal. Can you anwer my question about above? I will be very grateful to you !
There is a company called Protocad Engineering that has a similar tool, you type a CAD decal or a PCB decal and list the part types where used. Please check it out if this can help you, very good tool but it is not free.
Thank you very much for your reply，but I don't need to so complex thing, I want to know the fuction about the component's CAE Decals.
for example, the component's PCB Decal can get like that :
set comp= activedocument.components
But I write "comp(1).caedecal" is wrong ,please can you know the reason, and how I can do?
why not just export the entire library, then open the file in a text editor?
if you want to get fancy you could write a script using VBA to help sort out data that is not needed, and pretty it up
but the time to do that isn't worth it unless this is something you do on a regular basis.
