Compiler&Toolchain to be used for Nucleus OS on ARM9e board.

      Hi All,

I am newbie to Nucleus OS. I have a very basic question about application compilation. What compiler & toolchain should I used for Nucleus OS application?

I have downloded EDGE IDE but it has only x86 ARCH supported No ARM Device Support.

      Thanks in advance.

      Regards,

      Nilly

          Hi Nilly,

Most of the Nucleus ARM ports have support for these toolsets:

          ARM RealView

          CodeSourcery GNU

          EDGE ARM

If you respond with the specific ARM target you are using, I can give you more details about which toolsets can be used with it.

It sounds like you downloaded the evaluation version of EDGE.  That version only contains the tools for building a version of Nucleus that runs on a Windows host.  If you want to evaluate EDGE for use with an ARM target, please contact us (1-800-547-3000) so that an account representative can work with you.
