    HETERO 4  type component producing Error 6091

      Hi,

      I am trying to figure out how to create symbol(s) for double diode (like BAV99, BAR43...) without success. I would like to have one diode symbol, pack it (actually two of them) into SOT23 decal and maintain possibility of swapping diodes (pins) in Pads.

      I've followed instructions described in Pads 9.3 PCB Interfaces User's guide (p.99) -Gate swapping in pads layout:

      In order for PADS Layout to recognize a common pin format for gate swapping, you must use heterogeneous packaging. The following examples show how to implement heterogeneous packages (common pins are not included on the swappable symbol — the PCB interface correctly identifies these pins during the layout process):

       

      Example 1 — Simple SIP Resistor Pack

      …..To implement group pin swapping in PADS Layout, you must specify a heterogeneous package. This allows pins to be grouped together, and instead of doing a pin swap, PADS Layout performs a gate swap (which is equivalent to group pin swapping).

       

       

      My  recreation of example1 looks like this:

      Fig. 1 and Fig.2 are symbols, Fig.3 is showing properties table for TEST.1 symbol and Fig 4. are properties for placed symbols in Dxdesigner. Necessary attributes (DEVICE, HETERO, PKG_TYPE) are from DxDatabook.

       

      All this put together results in Error 6091:

      PCBFWD netlisting is completed with errors. Check pcb.err file for notes and information.

       

       

      All symbols are available in specified directories and names are 100% OK.

       

      If I put second symbol on schematic (TESTA.1) compiler produces this error:

      Manual is very inconsistent (wrong?) in some parts and I have no clue what else can I try (I’ve tried some other combinations of symbols and attributes too).

      I would like to have an explanation why these errors are produced and  how to create this type of component (HETERO 4) or even better if someone is willing to share some working example.
