This is a great list of things to look at when evaluating an EDA tool, including your simulator. As in all of engineering, there are mutually exclusive aspects. It would be impossible to create a tool that excels in all 7 aspects. The task for the customer is to prioritize this list and find the tool that ranks high in the areas that are important to the customer.
I think that you can add to this list the easiness of use. If it takes a PHD to do basic simulations and weeks to build a simulation deck you might want to use it in Academia, but not at work.
